The Maple Leaf is the Canadian Club of Belgium’s quarterly newsletter. It is also published in French as La Feuille d’érable.
The Maple Leaf/La Feuille d’érable showcases our activities and keeps members informed about what’s doing and what’s happening. It contains lots of photos and a brief report on our activities - so that everyone can see how much fun we have, feedback on our fundraising efforts and the charities that we support, info on upcoming events and activities, general interest articles contributed by members, information that may be of particular interest to Canadians living in Belgium, and various announcements/ advertisements.
The Editor issues a call for contributions at least one month prior to publication and contributions should be received by the 15th of the month. However Activity Coordinators are urged to forward their reports and photos as soon as possible.
Members can place announcements or small ads free of charge. Non-members may also advertise in the ML-FE for a small fee.
Our volunteer translators ensure the translation of articles into English or French (Julie LeBlanc) as the case may be. Of course we are always looking for volunteers who can translate or proofread at short notice. If you’re interested, please email the Editor.
